In today's lesson we looked at subtext within a part of our play and what you were thinking. We did this by using the clapping game in order to tell the audience what we are thinking at the precise moment. In the scene we choose I believe what Rose is doing is she is trying to get reactions from people but at the same time making everyone think she is innocent when really I think she is very intelligent. I see Rose as a character who is constantly trying to get a reaction from Milo (irene) however when he reacts she cowards away as if she is scared but i believe her to do this for sympathy. In this scene I also think that Rose as a character can show a lot of what she does through body language. For example when Milo snaps then she retires into her chair wit her head down.
